... and controls the temperature with Master Control
March 6, 2007– As the Hindustan Times launches its new station "Fever 104 FM" in Bangalore, India, RCS India supplies the new operation with a complete suite of scheduling, programming and studio systems. Master Control as digital studio system handles the play out of all program elements, Selector takes care of the music scheduling, Linker programs all non-music programming content and connects it to other systems in the operation, and Airwaves handles all aspects of commercial content from scheduling through billing and customer relations management.
With Fever in Bangalore, HT is starting its third station in India, and more are to follow in close succession. The choice of RCS for its core programming and operational systems demonstrates again HT's keen eye for smart alliances. Hindustan Times has already forged an alliance with Richard Branson's Virgin Radio International, in preparation for the start of this new venture into radio.
